Here I sit, broken hearted.
Thought I finished, I only started.

So, it's two o'clock in the AM and this bitch still ain't finished. This issue seemed to take an extraordinary amount of time to finish. Even with Joe Bob Briggs and Eric Powell dropping out without notice, it still feels huge. Don't write me off as deluded, I realize that we're a tiny little zine, but this is the biggest one we've done yet.

We've got a pretty good set of contributors on this one. Some of the old guys (can I say that after three issues?), and some new faces. We've even got a writer from England in this issue. Seriously, I was all stoked to see what rare Brit gems he was going to write about, and what does he give me? Monster Squad and A Nightmare on Elm Street. How much more American could it get? Oh well, if he wasn't such a good writer I'd kick him in the nuts. Maybe next time I make it across the pond.

I also got to throw some random questions at Neil fuckin Marshall. I write it like that because that's how I say it in my head. Neil fuckin Marshall. Yes, I got a little bit of the fan boy in me. It was interesting to see his perspective on the Pistols vs. Ramones thing. It's the first time I've got ask a Limey that question. Wow, is it starting to feel like a commonwealth in here. Boiled food and warm beer for everyone!

I'm gonna end it here cause I've had four hours of sleep a night for the last three night coding and designing this damn thing. Once more I'd like to whole heartedly thank my writers. Firstly to my old war horses: Angel, Dustin and Caleb. Thanks guys. Does it feel like three issues aleady? Next thanks goes to Will and Crono. I still can't believe you guys came back a second time. And lastly, thanks to the new guys: Ben, Janet and the Badsville Cat. Glad to have you folks on board. I hope you stick around. Also, thanks to Carrie, who lets me ignore her and the kids to work on this every night.

later,
Jamie
