Okay, I'll admit it, I giggled like a school girl when Neil Marshall agreed to do this. Then I called and emailed all my friends and told them. I saw Dog Soldiers when it first came out and LOVED it. I then saw The Descent and I still feel it was the best movie of 2005. And for all you pussies who didn't like Doomsday, well, all I can say is grow some balls and learn to have a little fun.

1. When was the last time you got into a physical altercation with a family member?
When I was about 10 I pistol-whipped my sister (with a toy gun obviously!) and then got a sound smack round the ear from my dad.

2. What was the last movie you watched that ended with you thinking "Well, that sucked".
Martyrs, at the weekend.

3. Have you ever dated a girl who had a thing for Adam Ant?
No, but a friend of mine used to date Adam Ant, does that count?

4. Name three musical acts that would make up your dream concert?
U2, The Stones and The Beatles.

5. How do you feel about the fact that Mtv's remaking Rocky Horror Picture Show?
Slightly nauseous.

6. Are you a fan of any combat sports (MMA, kick boxing, boxing, pro wrestling)?
WWE used to be fun before all the best stuff went onto pay-per-view.

7. What's the one movie maker, whether writer, director, or star, you'd stop from ever making another movie if you could?
Alan Smithee. He should be ashamed of himself!

8. I'm curious to hear a British perspective on this. Who was more influential on punk rock and music in general, the Sex Pistols or the Ramones?
From the point of view of an 8-9 year old, definitely the Sex Pistols. They were the public face of the punk rock revolution and even their name struck fear into the hearts of parents everywhere.

9. Are you a Barbarella fan?
No, it's all a bit....French really.

10. A 'Quiet Man' question. Who really would have won a fight between John Wayne and Victor McLaglen?
Look at McLaglan's face. Does he look like someone who avoided getting into fights? He'd have pummelled the Duke to jelly and no mistake.

11. With the recent glut of crappy cinematic remakes, what in your opinion is the best movie remake of all time? And you can't say the Thing, because that's too easy.
I consider The Thing to be more a re-adaptation of the book than a re-make of the original film. But my answer is.... THE FLY. Cronenberg took a cheesy B-movie concept and turned it into a horror masterpiece.

12. What was your favorite cartoon as a kid?
Dangermouse.

13. I've always said that if the Violent Femmes had died in a plane crash after their first album they would've went down in history as one of the greatest underground bands of all time. Can you think of a director who that description would also apply to?
I don't know any directors who play in underground bands.

14. Would you prefer to lose your penis or both your arms?
My arms. But then I'd have to learn to type with my penis.

15. On a day with no commitments, what time do you generally sleep til?
Oh, about 9am, or earlier. I don't need much sleep and I hate wasting the day.

16. Every time I finish Gates of Fire, a single, solitary tear runs down my face. How about you?
I've only recently finished reading it a second time, but just like the first time, I was a shattered emotional wreck by the end. Potent stuff.

17. Do you actually have time to watch movies?
I try and watch at least one movie a day. To keep the doctor away.

18. What's the one movie that everyone should see, but you haven't? For me its the Godfather. Seriously, never seen it.
Cinema Paradiso, or Night of the Living Dead, but I know how it ends.

19. Taking into consideration the age differences between the two countries, who is the closest thing to Batman in British folklore?
Surely Robin Hood. He fought crime, wore a hood instead of a cape, and spent much his time up trees instead of up skyscrapers.

20. I see you're an archery enthusiast. Do you hunt?
Only targets. They've got three legs, one bulls-eye, and stand perfectly still. They're just asking to be shot at.
