BthroughZ is getting ready to start work on issue #3. Since we're a volunteer run and written webzine, this means it's time to start looking for some more volunteers. We're looking for writers and artists.
|
WRITERS
We're looking for movie, music, book and video game reviewers, as well as people willing to do interviews. You must have an interesting style, be reasonably coherent, and not be a douchebag. We're not interested in writings of a religious or political nature. This is escapism, not a soapbox.

ARTISTS
We're looking for all types of artists, electronic and traditional. I suck at art in general, so we need all the help we can get. No dragons, elves, or fanart.

Since this is a volunteer site, there is no pay for anyone. Why would anyone want to do this for free? Three reasons:
|
|
1. Out of love. A love for your craft, whether it's writing or art, and a love for the genre. We don't care whether you're a fledgling writer or a long-timer, if you can write and love the genre, we'll take you.
2. Experience. You're looking at free experience to add to your resume. You would have examples of your writing or art on the web, on a real, live, shoddily made website.
3. To impress chicks who are into that kind of stuff. Seriously, go up to any chick with dyed hair and a daddy complex and tell her you write for a horror webzine. You're already halfway back to her dormroom for some Marilyn Manson and bong hits.
